What is different about your coaching from other programs?Stan primarily focuses on non-directive coaching to help his clients become aware of their own self-limiting behaviors and beliefs and accelerate their growth as leaders. He integrates lessons learned from over four decades in the technology and consulting fields to provide context at times and helps clients hone their leadership style by holding space for them to share openly and without fear of judgment. The safe space Stan co-creates with his clients allows them to see new options and address their toughest challenges. Stan is a true accountability partner for clients as they grow their leadership impact through both heart and mind.
-
How do I know I’ll get the personalized attention I want from my 1:1 Coaching program? To develop deep, impactful coaching partnerships and maintain high-quality interactions with each and every client, Stan restricts the number of 1:1 clients he is willing to take on. Even with Mastermind programs, you will receive monthly, focused attention to work through challenges in more depth and address topics you may not be comfortable sharing in a group setting. If at any time you feel you aren’t getting the attention you expect, Stan is available to re-evaluate the engagement with you and find a model that works better for you.
-
What if I am a coaching client but I want Stan’s advice on something? There may be times when it is appropriate for Stan to offer up key takeaways from his business career, but this is rarely the source of client’s most powerful learning and growth. By holding space, asking challenging questions, calling out the truth without judgement, and working through various modalities Stan helps clients reframe their perspectives and discover alternative approaches. Only then do we see deep and sustainable growth. That said, Stan will occasionally step out of coaching mode when it is clear that his expertise and knowledge can help break down a barrier for a client. When this arises, Stan makes a point of calling out that he is shifting modes so that there is no confusion. Stan emphasizes that he is sharing just his experience in related situations, not an indication of what is the solution for any client in their specific circumstances. If you really want more in-depth advice for your business, submit an application for a Strategic Advisory under Corporate Services.
-
How can corporate stakeholders (my management, HR/Talent, etc.) gain visibility into our coaching engagement?Any company-sponsored client can add a series of three 50-minute Stakeholder Check-in Sessions (sponsor, client, and coach) to their engagement for an additional one-time payment of $2,500. Check-In Sessions are usually conducted at the kick-off, mid-point, and close of the engagement.
-
Are Leadership Coaching and Stakeholder Check-in Sessions always conducted remotely? All Leadership Coaching and Stakeholder Check-in Sessions are conducted remotely via Zoom. For select clients, Stan will consider travelling to your location for sessions but will depend on availability to travel and require coverage of appropriate T&E expenses.
-
Are Team Services and Corporate Services conducted remotely or at my location? All Team Services and Corporate Services will be conducted at the location of your choosing. Team Services and Corporate Services proposals will include custom deliverables, payment schedule, and fee structure including all appropriate T&E expenses.
-
Why do I need to commit to 6- or 12-months?Deep and lasting transformation requires introspection and exploration. Even once you determine the changes you are committed to, you will need time to implement them, assess their impact, and for us to discuss them and explore whether any course correction or additional actions are called for.
-
What payment options are there?Payments for Leadership Coaching may be made monthly or as a one-time payment. Proposals for all other services will include a payment schedule to be mutually agreed upon.
-
What happens after I get in touch?Stan is currently accepting applications for 1:1 Coaching the 2025 calendar year. 1:1 Coaching slots are limited. Applications for Team Coaching and Corporate Services are welcome at any time. All services require submission of an application and subsequent approval by Stan if he believes you will be a good fit. 1:1 Coaching requests: If approved, Stan will set up an initial 25 min discovery call to explain the process and discuss the particulars of your engagement (session frequency, session timing, etc.). Team Services and Corporate Services requests: If approved, Stan will coordinate an exploration call with you with enough time to fully understand your needs and wants. Following that, we will provide a proposal containing custom program design, deliverables, and pricing to meet your requirements. Stan personally reviews every application and will normally respond within a few business days.

Coaching Philosophy
"Coaching is my way to give back – catalyzing leaders to examine self-limiting beliefs and behaviors, devise new approaches, uplevel their skills, and break through barriers to make sustainable changes and enhance their impact for themselves, their teams, and their companies."
– Stan Freck

Coaching in its highest form is a driver for change and growth. Stan staunchly believes in the power of non-directive coaching—creating a safe, confidential space where you can be truly introspective and unguarded. Probing your strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities together, Stan will challenge you to stretch and hold you accountable to the commitments you make.
Stan understands that at times, the experience and knowledge gained over the course of his life and career will be valuable to his clients and help them level up. In those instances, Stan is happy to share—though always with the caveat that what worked for him is not the only, and often, not the right choice for others.
Stan strives to act authentically in alignment with his core values and challenges his clients to do the same. Stan commits that he will show up, be fully present, speak truth without blame or judgment, and pay attention to what has heart and meaning for his clients.
